About Le Parutti

Where is Le Parutti located?

Le Parutti is based in historic Chester, New Jersey. If there is a place in New Jersey that you would associate with bucolic and serene, it would have to be Chester. Our founders often visited farms around here before they fell in love with the place and decided to put down roots in this quaint and picturesque township.

Where does the name Le Parutti come from?

Parutti is cotton in the southern Indian language called Tamil. The name Le Parutti is a nod to the Franco-Tamil heritage of Pondicherry, India. It’s where our founders hail from and their factory is located.

Why do our products cost less than other brands of similar quality?

All our operations are in house right from creating the designs to weaving, finishing and sewing. This helps us offer a very high quality product at a very low price.

How are the products made?

Products are designed and ethically produced at our family owned factories in India. Our staff is mostly women who hand stitch the products.

What are the sheets made of?

Our sheets are made from 100% long staple Indian cotton known for superior softness and absorbency. We have over four decades of experience working with the finest names in hospitality and retail and are happy to bring that to you.

Are the products Oeko-Tex certified?

We make sure that every input we use is Oeko-Tex certified. We care about your well being, no harmful chemicals were used in manufacturing the product.

What is the thread count used in your fabric?

Thread count is important but a higher thread count does not directly equate to higher quality. The combination of yarn quality, the weave and finish is important to create the right fabric and feel.

We have developed our Percale in 250 thread count and our Sateen (coming soon!) in 400 thread count using a Single Pick weave. This gives the fabric a smooth and luxurious finish that gets softer with every wash and lasts for years.

How are Percale and Sateen different?

Percale and Sateen denote the type of weave, both woven from the same cotton. The Percale weave creates a highly breathable and crisp fabric with a matte feel. The Sateen weave gives the fabric a natural lustre and a silk like feel.

How deep are the fitted sheets?

They fit mattresses up to a depth of 15 inches.

Do the duvet covers have any fasteners?

All duvet covers have ties on the four inner corners and a zipper on the bottom, so your duvet stays in place!

Why do you only have Percale?

We are launching initially with percales. Our sateen collection, kids bedding, bath and table linen are in the works. Join our mailing list below and get first dibs on our product launches.

Wash Care

Will the sheets shrink on wash?

Any cotton fabric will shrink. We have provided enough allowance to take shrinkage into account. Just make sure to wash in warm water and dry in low heat.

What about wrinkles?

Wrinkles are common with natural fibers such as cotton. We intentionally do not provide anti-wrinkle treatment to avoid harmful chemical treatments. Just lay it out on your bed and smooth it out or iron prior to setting the bed for a neat look.

Wash Instructions

Wash before use, in warm water and dry in low heat. Use a mild detergent without bleach and your fabric will last a lifetime.

Can I buy separates instead of Sheets Sets or Duvet Cover Sets?

Sorry, we currently do not offer separates but will soon in the next phase.

Can I mix and match sheets and duvets?

Yes, our sheets and duvets have been designed with the idea of mix and match. This lets you create a bundle of any sheet set and any duvet cover set of your choice including size!

Do you offer warranty?

We do not offer warranty on bedding products. We are committed to quality and strive to offer products that you can love and use for a long time. Should you find manufacturing defects, please contact us and we’d be happy to resolve it.

Can I cancel my order and how?

Cancellations can be requested using the contact page if the order is not shipped but cancellations are not guaranteed. You can always initiate a return within 30 days of receiving the item should you decide to do so.

Shipping and Returns Policy

What countries do you ship to?

Currently, we offer free shipping within the United States ad flat rate shipping to Canada.

What is the shipping method and cost?

We offer complimentary standard ground shipping via UPS/USPS within mainland US and flat rate shipping to Canada.

How soon do your products ship and when can I expect to receive it?

We offer next business day shipping based on Eastern Standard Time (EST). You can expect delivery in 5-7 business days from the day of shipping.

What is your return policy and how do I initiate it?

All products are eligible for returns and full refunds within 30 days. Items must be returned in their original packaging, must be unused, unwashed and undamaged. Refunds are processed to the original payment method minus any shipping and handling charges that may have been incurred.

If you are not satisfied with the product or think that there could be a manufacturing defect, please reach out to us using the contact page with all the details and we will do our best to assist you.

Is it possible to return specific items from an order?

Items within a single product such as sheet set or duvet cover set cannot be separated and returned. However, products can be individually returned even if they were purchased as a single order.

Please note that a partial refund, value equal to the original price of the product being returned minus any discounts that may have been offered will be processed.

When will I receive my refund ?

10-14 days from the day of processing the return. Once the items are received and checked, we will send out an email. Please note that we do not process returns initiated after 30 days of purchase or for products that have been used, washed or damaged.

Can I exchange an item ?

Sorry, we do not offer exchanges. Instead you could return the original product for a refund and order a replacement.
